Texas A&M is proud to bring the excitement of Aggie Athletics straight to your televisions, radios, computers and mobile devices throughout the year!

The SEC Network, which is brought to you by ESPN and the Southeastern Conference, started in 2014. The network covers events for all conference sports, plus delivers unique original content to fans of the most elite conference in the country. SEC Network + also exists to provide events to fans through WatchESPN on your digital and mobile devices.

12th Man Productions assists by putting on both linear and digital broadcasts on SEC Network, SEC Network + and the ESPN family of networks throughout the year.

Along with event broadcasts, 12th Man Productions also produces team-by-team video coverage throughout the year on 12thman.com, A&M's 45 social media accounts, and through the official athletics YouTube channel.

12th Man Productions also produces the award-winning Aggie Football show, "The Pulse," which now is available nationwide for the 2019 season on ESPNU. 12th Man P takes you inside A&M Football like nobody else can.

Audio coverage of events throughout the year are available through the Texas A&M Radio Network. Spanish Radio is also available for select events.

The Texas A&M Athletics Podcast brings unique audio content to the 12th Man throughout the year, and Studio 12 airs on Wednesdays and Fridays each week to keep fans posted on everything going on in Aggieland.

Tap Bentz

Men's Basketball | Women's Basketball | Color Analyst | SEC Network

Tap Bentz joined the Aggie Women's Basketball program as an assistant in 1996. He came to College Station from New Orleans after having a very successful career as a high school girls basketball coach.

The former 3-time Coach of the Year in Louisiana became the lead radio analyst in 2002 after he left the program in 1999 to enter into private business in College Station.

Bentz has become a staple on the Aggie Women's Basketball broadcasts since. He has also helped with Men's Basketball and Softball.

David Ellis

Soccer | Play-by-Play | SEC Network | Coach G Radio Show | Off the Pitch Podcast

David Ellis enters his 11th season as the play-by-play radio voice of Aggie Soccer, his 5th season on the SEC Network and his 10th year as host of the Aggie Soccer Hour, Head Coach G Guerrieri's weekly radio show.

In addition to his duties with Aggie Soccer, Ellis also serves as an announcer for commencement ceremonies at Texas A&M.

Ellis is a passionate Aggie Soccer fan and die hard Aggie with a bachelors, masters and doctoral degree from Texas A&M. He retired as a Regents Fellow and Senior Research Scientist at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute.

Jeff Given

Soccer | Color Analyst | SEC Network

A coach with over 15 years of experience at the academy, club, high school, and collegiate level, Jeff Given returns to the booth for his 9th season on the radio as an analyst for Aggie Soccer and his 2nd with the SEC Network.

In addition to his duties with Aggie Soccer, Given serves as the GIS Analyst for the City of College Station's Public Works Department.  The avid runner and outdoorsman holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Geography from Texas A&M University.

Mark Johnson

Baseball | Color Analyst | SEC Network

Mark Johnson serves as color commentator for Aggie Baseball on the SEC Network.

The winningest coach in A&M Baseball history, Johnson totaled 876 career wins and a .670 winning percentage during his 21 years in Aggieland. He led the Aggies to the 1993 and 1999 College World Series in Omaha. Only Tom Chandler (26 years) spent more seasons as head coach for Aggie Baseball. Johnson led the Aggies to a pair of Big 12 regular season championships (1998 & 1999), along with three Southwest Conference Championships (1986, 1989, 1993).

Johnson is a member of the ABCA Coaches Hall of Fame (2001 Inductee) and the Texas Baseball Hall of Fame (2002 Inductee). He was the Sporting News National Coach of the Year in 1999. He also earned three Big 12 Coach of the Year (1998, 1999, 2003) and Southwest Conference Coach of the Year (1986, 1989, 1993) honors during his career.

Will Johnson

Baseball | Men's Basketball | Play-by-Play | SEC Network

Will Johnson, Texas A&M class of 2001, serves as play by play announcer for Aggie Baseball and also assists with play by play duties for Aggie men's and women's basketball. Since 2012, he has been the sideline reporter for Aggie Football on the Texas A&M Radio Network.

Johnson has served in various roles for 12th Man Productions since joining the Texas A&M athletics department in 2001. Johnson has been host of coaches shows and was the weekly host of "The Beat: Texas A&M Athletics" for multiple years. He currently serves as writer and narrator of "The Pulse: Texas A&M Football", 12th Man Productions' award-winning weekly football show in the fall. Johnson has earned multiple Telly Awards and SVGA Awards, and he recently was awarded with a Lone Star Emmy for his work on "The Pulse".

Chelsea Reber

Volleyball | Softball | Play-by-Play | Color Analyst | SEC Network

A Bryan native, Chelsea played volleyball at Blinn College before earning her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University in 2010. She attended Syracuse University, where she earned a master's degree in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from the Newhouse School in 2011.

When Texas A&M University joined the Southeastern Conference in 2012, she broadcasted Aggie Volleyball games for 12thman.com. With the start of the SEC Network in 2014, she joined the Aggie Volleyball broadcast team as an analyst and the Aggie Softball broadcast team as a play-by-play announcer.

Casey Richardson

Volleyball | Play-by-Play | SEC Network

A native Texan, Casey Richardson started her career as a sports anchor at WKAG-TV in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, before moving to Bryan/College Station as a sports reporter at KBTX-TV. Her broadcasting career actually began in college, where she announced volleyball, basketball, and softball games on the radio for the Southland Conference while in school.

Casey was a high school and club volleyball coach for several years before making the decision to leave broadcasting and pursue a career in Marketing and Communications. Not ready to permanently put down the mic, though, she began calling Aggie Volleyball games in 2012.

Matt Simon

Softball | Play-by-Play | Color Analyst | SEC Network

Matt Simon serves as play-by-play announcer for Aggie Softball each spring.

Simon has been part of A&M Athletics for over 20 years. He began as editor of the athletics website before transitioning to the athletics communications office. Simon spent two years covering Men's Basketball, Men's Golf and Equestrian, then three years assisting with communications for Aggie Baseball and Football.

He is currently the Manager of Digital Strategy as part of 12th Man Productions. In his current role, Simon oversees the strategy and direction of the department's 45 social media accounts along with the official athletics website, 12thman.com.

Tori Vidales

Softball | Color Analyst | SEC Network

Vidales enters her second season as color analyst for Aggie Softball on the SEC Network.

One of the most decorated players in Aggie Softball history, Vidales finished her career as the school's record holder in runs, RBI and total bases. She also ranked second in home runs and third in both walks and slugging percentage. She earned multiple NFCA All-American honors during her A&M career.

Following her graduation in 2018, she spent time with Scrap Yard Fast Pitch before moving to the Cleveland Comets. She has also gained years of experience with the Mexican National Team.

Boomer White

Baseball | Color Analyst | SEC Network

White enters his second year assisting with color commentary for Aggie Baseball on the SEC Network.

He started his collegiate baseball career at TCU before transferring to A&M in 2015. White was SEC Player of the Year in 2016, hitting .386 with 49 runs, 19 doubles, five homers, 46 RBI and 10 stolen bases. He set the SEC record for most hits in league play with 57 hits in 30 games.

Mike Wright

Women's Basketball | Play-by-Play | SEC Network

Mike Wright joined the Athletics Department in March 2019 as Director of Public Relations and Strategic Communications, but is no stranger to Aggie Sports.  A multi-award winning play-by-play announcer, Wright served as radio broadcast voice of Texas A&M Women's Basketball 7-years, including 2011, the year the Aggies won the National Championship.

He serves as television play-by-play for A&M Basketball on ESPN's SEC+ Network.  He can also be heard at every home football game as the voice at Kyle Field.  Wright says, "I will never be the voice OF Kyle Field.  That distinction will always belong to the 12th Man."  You can follow Wright on twitter: "@mikeatkyle."

Tap Bentz

Women's Basketball | Color Analyst | A&M Radio Network

Tap Bentz joined the Aggie Women's Basketball program as an assistant in 1996. He came to College Station from New Orleans after having a very successful career as a high school girls basketball coach.

Bret Dark

Women's Basketball | Color Analyst | A&M Radio Network


After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1989, Bret enjoyed a 12-year television career that took him to stations in Lufkin, Tyler, and Knoxville, Tennessee, where he was both a sports and news anchor.

Since transitioning to his current career as a financial advisor, he has kept in touch with broadcasting by hosting the Friday Night Game of the Week for KBTX in Bryan, and working with Texas A&M Ventures in conjunction with the Texas A&M women's basketball team.

Bret and his wife, Becky, have four children and reside in Bryan.

Dave Elmendorf

Football | Color Analyst | A&M Radio Network

Dave Elmendorf has served as analyst for Aggie Football since 1988. Elmendorf was the first-ever analyst of the Texas A&M Radio Network. Elmendorf, a 1971 graduate of A&M, spent several seasons in the NFL and was a part of Super Bowl XIV as a member of the Los Angeles Rams.

Elmendorf starred for Aggie baseball and football during his A&M career. He was named to the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame in 1997.

He was selected by the New York Yankees in the 1971 draft, but chose to go to the NFL instead. The Rams selected him in the third round of the 1971 draft. Elmendorf earned All-Rookie, All-NFC and Second Team All-Pro honors during his NFL career with the Rams.

Will Johnson

Football | Sideline Reporter | A&M Radio Network | Studio 12

Will Johnson, Texas A&M class of 2001, serves as play by play announcer for Aggie Baseball and also assists with play by play duties for Aggie men's and women's basketball. Since 2012, he has been the sideline reporter for Aggie Football on the Texas A&M Radio Network.

Johnson also assists with the weekly Studio 12 radio show, which airs on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the year.

Steve Miller

Women's Basketball | Color Analyst | A&M Radio Network

Steve Miller has spent over 20 years broadcasting road women's basketball games for the Aggies. He also serves as host for the Coach Blair Weekly Radio Show.

Miller has worked in A&M Athletics for nearly 30 years. He is currently the Assistant Athletic Director for Events and External Services, a position he has held since 2012. In his current role, he assists with program scheduling for SEC Network produced content and also coordinates Texas A&M's bidding process for NCAA Championship events. He also oversees event management and has been tournament director for many post-season championship events.

Before transitioning to events, Miller also spent time as assistant media relations director at Texas A&M, working primarily with football, women's basketball and men's tennis.

Andrew Monaco

Football, Men's Basketball | Play-by-Play | A&M Radio Network

Andrew Monaco took over as the voice of Aggie football and men's basketball in June of 2018. Monaco also hosts the coaches' shows for football and men's basketball while assisting with podcast content for the athletics department.

Prior to his arrival in College Station, Monaco was a broadcaster for the San Antonio Spurs for 11 seasons. During his time as a broadcaster in San Antonio, the Spurs won two NBA titles (2007 & 2014), three Western Conference titles (2007, 2013, 2014) and seven division titles (2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017). Monaco served as play-by-play announcer, sideline reporter and host of Spurs Live during his tenure in San Antonio. He has also been the play-by-play voice of the San Antonio Stars of the WNBA and Orlando Magic of the NBA during his career.

He brings over 30 years of broadcasting experience to Aggieland.

Dave South

Baseball | Play-by-Play | A&M Radio Network

Dave South is the legendary voice of Texas A&M athletics, calling Aggie football, men's basketball and baseball games since 1985. South was the first-ever play-by-play voice of the Texas A&M Radio Network, which began in 1988.

South made 2017-18 his final year behind the microphone for football and men's basketball, but still handles radio play-by-play duties for Aggie baseball.

Dave was awarded with the 2018 NFF Chris Schenkel Award, which recognizes individuals who have had long and distinguished careers broadcasting college football for a specific university.

John Thornton

Men's Basketball | Color Analyst | A&M Radio Network

John Thornton serves as color commentator for Aggie Men's Basketball.

As a student-athlete at Texas A&M, Thornton played for two years under coach Shelby Metcalf. He was Southwest Conference Newcomer of the Year before becoming team captain on the 1975 SWC Championship team.

He spent time as graduate assistant and assistant coach for Aggie men's basketball and also holds three degrees from Texas A&M. Thornton also spent time as interim head basketball coach. He also served as Senior Associate Athletic Director and was interim Director of Athletics during his long tenure at A&M. He took over as Director of the Texas A&M Coaching Academy in 2012.

Thornton was a 2015 inductee to the Texas A&M Athletic Hall of Fame.

Tom Turbiville

Women's Basketball | Play-by-Play | A&M Radio Network

Veteran broadcaster Tom Turbiville is starting his 17th season as the play-by-play voice of Texas A&M Women's Basketball in 2019-20. Now retired as a full-time broadcaster, he spent 19 years as Sports Director and Morning Show co-host of the "Infomaniacs" on WTAW Radio in Bryan-College Station. He came to Bryan College Station in 1984 as Sports Information Director at Texas A&M, after spending seven year as assistant information director for the Southwest Conference Office in Dallas.

As a local broadcaster, Turbiville has also done play-by-play and analyst work for high school football and basketball, Texas A&M Baseball and he spent 11 seasons as the sideline reporter for the Texas A&M Football Radio Network. Besides his Aggie Women's Basketball duties, he continues to call high school boys and girls basketball, football, baseball and softball for his own on-line broadcast company BCSBALL.COM.

Turbiville is a 23-time winner of Texas AP Broadcasters Awards and was voted Favorite Radio Personality three straight years by the Eagle' Readers Poll. He and his wife Judy have 3 sons and six grandchildren. They
live in College Station.

The Aggies finished the 2018 season at 9-4, and 12th Man P was there every step of the way through Jimbo Fisher's first season in Aggieland.
